What is an enzyme peel?
Enzyme peels are a non-chemical, two part exfoliating Enzyme System
that provides a truly exceptional exfoliating treatment.
How often is a peel recommended?
To achieve desired results the Enzyme Peel Kit is recommended for use once every 4 weeks.
Is the kit easy to use:?
Yes very easy to use all you do is Mix equal parts (about one tablespoon) of Enzyme Peel Powder and (one tablespoon of) Activating Gel in a bowl
and stir until a smooth paste consistency is achieved.
Apply over cleansed skin.
Allow to remain on the skin for up to 15 minutes (for dry, mature, and sensitive skin), or up to 25 minutes (for oily and problem skin) and rinse off it's that easy.
Are instructions included in the kit?
Yes full instructions are included with the Kit.
Why Should I do a patch test?
To check for possible sensitivity to the Enzyme Peel Ingredients,
it is recommended that a patch test be performed on a small inconspicuous area
using the Application Procedure listed below.
Check the test area after 24 hours for signs of excessive irritation.
If excessive stinging or burning occurs, rinse product off immediately.
It is normal for some stinging and redness and should be expected after the treatment.
Can the peel kit be used on other areas of the body?
The Fruit Enzyme Peel may even be used on other areas you wish to peel, such as the neck, chest area, arms, and hands if the skin on these areas needs some extra help.If you apply the Fruit Enzyme Peel to these other areas, adjust the amount of the mixture accordingly (for example, mix 2 tablespoons each of the Fruit Enzyme Powder and Activator Gel).
Instructions for use
1. Cleanse the face (and other areas you wish to peel, such as the neck, chest area, arms, hands legs )
2. Mix equal parts (about one tablespoon) of Fruit Enzyme Powder and (one tablespoon) Fruit Enzyme Activating Gel in a bowl and stir until a smooth paste consistency is achieved
3. Apply Fruit Enzyme Peel Mixture with your fingertips, cotton ball or brush to the areas to be exfoliated.
Caution: Avoid the eyelids and mucus membranes during the application.
4. Allow the mixture to remain on the skin for up to 15 minutes
(for dry, mature, and sensitive skin) or up to 25 minutes (for oily and problem skin).
5. Rinse thoroughly with cool water, do not rub the skin, do not to let product run into eyes.
6. Apply a moisturizer Cream Souffle` is recommended.
Safety Precautions
Do not use products containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids or Retin A for at least 24 hours before or after this procedure.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Some users of this product may experience a mild skin irritation. If irritation becomes severe, discontinue use and consult a physician or if Pregnant or Nursing.
Always do a patch test before using any of our products to determine possible sensitivity to a product or ingredients.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) such as Glycolic Acid, and enzymes perform different functions to achieve exfoliation.
They complement each other when used separately.
AHAs loosen and lift off the top layers of dead cells, while enzymes simply dissolve the dead skin cells off, revealing fresher skin.
Products formulated with pure fruit acids and natural ingredients produce optimal results without irritation.
Our Enzyme Kit takes advantage of natural fruit enzymes to exfoliate and refine the skin without the use of synthetics or harsh chemicals.
Fruit Enzyme Products are excellent for those who are sensitive to Glycolic Products or those with sensitive skin.
Fruit Enzyme Products produces great results as Glycolic Products, but use a gentle action.
Fruit Enzyme products are excellent to use in conjunction with Glycolic Acid Products.
Many people use both methods to maintain their skin.
Simply do a Glycolic Peel once a week to lift off and remove the top layer of dead skin cells, then once a month do a Enzyme Peel to go in and dissolve another layer of dead skin cells.
Using the two different methods of exfoliation really helps maintain a youthful skin.
The skin gets used to a product and sometimes no longer responds with the same results.
Changing products, such as switching to Fruit Enzymes to exfoliate the skin, will stimulate the skin into responding and you will get the results you are looking for.
The use of Glycolic Acid and other AHAs involves frequent applications, while enzyme peels need only be done every 4 weeks.
